The Fascinating ‘Volumptuous’ Sideboard by Edward Johnson
A carpenter from England named Edward Johnson has created a Volumptuous sideboard. Wood furniture has also been on display in the exhibition Furniture III as part of the 21st century. Edward pulled from the sideboard can be regarded as a work of art. This can be an inspiration to create furniture that increasingly attractive and unique.
“Volumptuous is a truly unique sideboard, a test piece of me as a maker and made ??me feel uncomfortable as a designer. Using the latest material technology, Volumptuous are handmade in Oak and internally lined with Aromatic Cedar of Lebanon. Jobs once the frame is square-shaped hand laminated to follow any kind of panel, and then a mild upset with ammonia to achieve coloration of chocolate brown. Volumptuous is as sensual as furniture gets; stimulate visual, tactile and beautiful seductive fragrance. It speaks a thousand words about what I believe my work is about art” – otherwise the designer Edward Johnson.
