Surface Cabinet by Jessika Källeskog

I am sure this cabinet will be really fit for your minimalist house because it is simple and unique. It looks great to be placed on the corner of your house. This design was created by Swedish designer Jessika Källeskog of CONTOUR , called the Surface Cabinet.

Here is the description from the designer:

With an appearance of simplicity and sculptural influences, continuous lines develop planes into three-dimensional artifacts. A boundless Collection of Furniture that includes Surface Lounge Table and Surface Cabinet as a continuation of the Cut tables.

The form conceptually derives from a square plane surface; folded by a soft curved division, resulting in a development of concave and convex shapes connecting the front and the left side of the cabinet; provoking a living bulging shape in a harmonic wave.

Elegant Lambda Table by Gianluigi Landoni

Elegant Lambda Table by Gianluigi Landoni_3

An elegant design of table has just recently been made by Italian designer, Gianluigi Landoni. The design entitled the Lambda Table is created specifically for the manufacturer Sovet.

Here is the short description from the manufacturer:

The table has been inspired by the dynamism of a moving element, like the ribbon of a gymnast that vaults in the air designing natural and soft shapes. The base is made in Cristalplant, a hard, smooth and solid material, which is also very pleasant to the touch and eco-friendly. Its sinuous shape, synthesis of personality and elegance, perfectly matches the lightness of the glass top.

Gabion Table by Benjamin Hubert

Gabion Table by Benjamin Hubert

Benjamin Hubert has created the Gabion Table, an extraordinary tablet for De La Espada.

Here is the short description from the designer:

A pedestal dining table with a metal cage base containing the ballast that creates the structures stability.

Subverting the idea of traditionally hiding ballast in pedestal tables, most commonly sandbags, the dining table utilises an overt granite ballast as its focal point within a steel frame with ash surface.

A recent graduate from College For Creative Studies America, Colin Tury has created unique furniture entitled Unorganized Cabinet.

Description from the designer:
I just graduated from CCS (College For Creative Studies) in Detroit, MI. with a degree in furniture design and a minor in industrial design.  This piece is from my senior show which consisted of a full living room set.  The main theme to my show was about my unorganized lifestyle.  This piece in particular was about balancing all the clutter.  It was a study done for my advanced woodworking class to test the utility of a common drawer and door.  Each individual cabinet represents a particular element in my life. The cabinet consist of a large 2 door cabinet and 3 separate drawer cabinets.  Each drawer has fully functional wood slides.  The frame holding up the cabinet represents my construction background and appears to be nailed to the cabinet as a temporary support.
