This chair design is inspired by a feel when we get the full comfortable point in sitting under the moon light. Hence, the designer must have felt the need to create a piece of furniture that captures the shape and shine of earth’s natural satellite and offers it in five different colors. Available in red, orange, bronze, black and white, the Moon Chair designed by Mike To is one of those objects that inspire a special atmosphere in the room it beautifies. It weights 18 kg and it can adorn a modern space just as well as an interesting piece of modern art would. Inspired by the moon, as its name openly admits, the Moon Chair is no higher than 62 cm. Sold through Fashion For Home, the fiberglass chair can be used both inside or outside, so you can enjoy its smooth design anywhere you want to.

EVA Chair for Kids EVA Chair for Kids EVA Chair for Kids EVA Chair for Kids

This EVA Chair for Kids was created by Japanese design group h220430 .Here is the short description about the chair design:

People can absorb many things efficiently during their childhood. Therefore, it is preferable that people should touch superior designs for fostering a rich sensibility during their childhood. However, unfortunately superior designs are not rarely utilized for child products. We consider that a design would be necessary for children who will form or create the future. Therefore, EVA chair is the chair for those children.

It can be completed just by rolling up a piece of board and fastening it with a string. Because it can be returned to a planar shape easily, it can be stored even in small space. It also can save energy and cost at the time of shipment. The material EVA that is used to build this chair is lightweight and holds a rich flexibility, superior durability, and various color variations. If the material accidentally enters into a mouth by any chance, it will be still safe so it is a good material for children. In addition, with consideration of the material for high recyclability, no dioxin generation, and environmentally friendly, the material is suitable for children who play an important role in the future. We certainly wish that children can foster their flexible imagination and build a rich and enjoyable life with this EVA chair.

1968 Vespa Scooter by David Giammetta

Some interesting photos of David Giammetta’s designs have just been unveiled. The photos show how a 1968 vespa can be so useful for work station. Here are the photos and information: “When people hear the Italian word Vespa, it’s instantly associated with Piaggio scooters. The word actually means ‘wasp’ and was used by Enrico Piaggio for his scooters when they first appeared in 1942, because of their appearance and the buzzing noise that the two stroke engine created. Tougher emission laws and the push to “go green” have made it increasingly difficult for classic automotive owners to maintain their pride and joy on the roads of today. Instead of sending rusty Vespa’s to the trash pile, I have found a more creative solution: turn the iconic scooter into functional pieces of designer furniture! The donor for my furniture project was a 1968 Vespa sprint that was beyond restoration, making it the perfect candidate. I feel that this was a more honorable fate than the scrap metal yard. I have tried to retain the traditional characteristics of the classic icon by converting the back half into a functional work station, complete with adjustable laptop stand.
